Professionals on the ExtraPro bench are independent contractors, not Bluewave employees.
What that means
- ✓You choose your own weekly availability, travel radius, and minimum hourly pay, and the dispatch software respects all three
- ✓You may decline any offer for any reason, with no penalty and no effect on your ranking
- ✓You are free to work for anyone else, including clients you meet through ExtraPro
- ✓You may bring your own supplies and equipment; a supplies fee passes 100% to you
- ✓You control how the work is performed; Bluewave does not supervise you on site
Pay and taxes
You are paid per job — 80% of the client's price plus any supplies fee — through a payment account you control. Bluewave reports your earnings on Form 1099-NEC. No taxes are withheld; you are responsible for your own.
Agreements
The independent worker agreement and the client services agreement are reviewed by employment counsel before launch. This notice is a summary and does not replace the agreement you sign when you join.
